Bristol Armoured Division. Tank Meet. Sun 22nd May. PICS!

Post by TKcommander »

Sunday 22nd May. Tank Meet at the Scout Hut, Templecombe.
viewtopic.php?f=198&t=14381&start=40

Doors open 10am - 4pm, Templecombe is about 40 mins south of Bristol, in the glorious South Somerset countryside near the North Dorset border.
The cost is £10 for Tank commanders

Anyone who would like to attend will be made very welcome, plenty of tables, and lots of scenery. The hall is carpeted and great for running tanks. Lots of heaters if needed. Tea/Coffee facilities - if Rob remembers to bring some and I don't forget the milk. Please bring your own lunch, we aren't that generous! :P

I will be there, along with the Panther, Bulldog and Pershing. Usual scenery will be in attendance as well. :P
I've disabled the barrel elevation on all of them, so it will be interesting to see how well they battle in the hut. If it's warm and sunny we could take a whiz round the corner to the outdoor battlefield and see whether we can make use of it during the summer?

I will be there. I have fixed the IR into my tiger. Just need to connect up and put everything back together. Just hope it works.

The revised "mountain pass" will return home.

Just a gentle bump to the top so that anyone who is in the area and might like to see what we are up will know that they are more than welcome to do so.

Hopefully, in addition to returning the scenery which I have changed a little, I will have my Flak 88mm base in a presentable condition, though it will be very much work in progress. I have had a bit of a rethink.

I don't know about anyone else, but I really enjoyed today. Some good battling and some great looking tanks and my Tiger went battle live for the first time. All I have to do know is learn how to drive it properly!

I totally agree, the battlefield scenery is now beginning to look pretty good. At least I now know that the Chieftain runs and battles like I always intended it to. I took a few pics, I'll post them up tomorrow.
