IBU2 Pro front lights

Post by emmasdad »

Hello all, wonder if anyone can help......

Tried to rig up front lights on my T55, connected to the corresponding HL turret socket mentioned in the IBU manual and nuffink when moving stick to position mentioned. To test the lights I connected the socket to the turret rotation position on the HL turret block and both 12v LED and 6v grain of rice bulbs iluminate brightly.

I have checked the IBU2.ini file and this is set to power on at startup......... very confusing, any ideas guys probably something simple but Im not that savvy on the "black art"

Thanks in anticipation.
Take care...... Gary

Don't forget LED are polarity sensitive Ie only work when connected the correct way.

Also the output from ibu2 already has resistor built in so using 12v LED won't work or be very dim.

All sorted now, I simply removed the resistor plugged back in and we have nice bright light......well pleased.

Thanks for the heads up Ian.
