IBU 2 base no sound problem

Post by TheSynchronizer »

A little backstory to this, at the time of my purchase of the base, I didn't have a manual volume control button because the new HL tanks come with it on the transmitter, so when my board arrived just plugged in the speaker and hoped sound would play. Obviously nothing played, didn't bother me much though.

Today I got my volume control, a cheapo HL one I got from rctank.de as well as a speaker from them. PLugged everything in, went into the sd card, copied over the files from the folder I wanted, into the root, replaced existing files etc. Plugged it back into the board, turned it on and nothing. Now i'm just stumped on what to do next. Troubleshooting on the manual only states that I verify the ini files, well I did copy over and replace the sounds I wanted like it said. Not entirely sure what to do. :S

Yeah, microsd is installed properly, clicks in and out just fine. I'm about to try reformatting it.

Is there any sound from the speaker at all even a slight hiss to verify the speaker and volume are connected correctly.

Also don't reformat with windows it 99% chance it won't be readable in the IBU2 afterwards.
