But a Tamiya, nevertheless.
I split the axle and added a dual gearbox to the 1/35 Mark IV Male kit. It's another well engineered kit from Tamiya and I got it from your side of the pond for $50 shipped, so I'm not complaining.
It'll get the serious Horror Show treatment, I put the tracks on and am waiting on higher voltage motors. The Tamiya Maruchis I had on hand were 3 volts, but I'm using the the guttywuts from the Panda Hobby kit and it's 6-8 volts. It'll have working MGs, cannon and sound, just not sure if I'll do the recoil (not even sure if the real one recoiled).
Here's the test spin:
Not the usual Tamiya...
Not the usual Tamiya...
What, me worry?

Nice, that's meant to be one of the better ww1 tank kits too.

Something a little different for sure and it looks great, ausf. I'm impressed with how much you can fit in such a (comparatively) small-scale tank.
