Tabletop tank battles??

Just been looking at the Waltersons 1/72 scale tanks on You Tube. Full sound and IR.

Nice......... Is there actually real sound ? I also heard that the IR emitter is in the controller, so you have to aim your controller towards your target. Maybe I am confused with some other ones perhaps.

1/72 is around 00 gauge railway size, so they are really small.

I've heard the sound comes from the controller, not the tank. Don't know about the emitter.
