What paint to use for detail items?

Post by eddscott »

In preparation for building a 1/16 JS2, I'm thinking of buying a HL tank to strip, rebuild and paint or buy a 1/35 JS2 and build that. I have an airbrush on the way and will probably be using the Mig Jimenez Russian 4BO Modulation Set to paint the kit.

However, I'm not sure what paints to use for the detail parts. I use to paint Games Workshop minatures so know the citadel paints aren't too bad.

The Mig ammo paints are more than suitable for detail work. They are probably the only paint out of the bottle which does both well, without thinning. At least in my experience they are nicer to work with that Citadel and also cheaper.
