challenger disaster!

Post by spongehoobtank82 »

Definitely going to need metal tracks and sprockets and a stronger idler mount! Best avoid thick mud with small rocks in till then!

8O .......That's some serious looking mud....and damage....On the flip side...it's pretty realistic looking ...a little duct tape and she'll be good as new ....Maybe ;)

Yeah don't worry guys she is being fixed as we speak! The idler seems to be a weak area so I may reinforce this area with some pins and a stronger glue, the mud was thick clay and small stones not a good combo as it sticks and builds up will avoid that area again!

Sorry to learn about this, but a lesson to the rest of us! I'm glad you are able to repair this, and that the metal replacements are becoming available.

Cheers, Tom

Terrific paint job; and it really looks like it's seen action. For the rest it's just teething troubles...so to speak. Great job
