Im a longtime scale 4x4 rc type of guy.been into rc since around 1992,owned and build plenty.
Im into planes,quads,boats,scale 4x4,construction equipment....just about anything rc ......and fpv
Figured id venture into tanks.

I've done a bunch of different R/C's as well. I like the tanks/armor as one of the few R/C things that can be super detailed and still run them without too much worry.
I try to avoid planes, as my last ARTF was airborne in just hours, pieces about 90 seconds later (broke the .40's crank shaft and case)!

Sounds like a terrible crash,.40 cranks are tuff.
I have a bixler v 1.1,cx20 quad,a few small quads and helis.
I rarely fly the plane with the quads around.
I like building things,unique things.i have a rc outboard with working power trim thats simple and compact.
I just put together a 1/6th scale yamaha rhino 4x4 rc.
Toy rhino body,hpi rs4 evo 3 front and rear drive train,traxxas vxl tranny,home made driveshafts....ect.
Its all custom work.....with parts that werent ment to be together.
It will be awhile before i post up a build,gonna run my HL stock and enjoy her for awhile.
Heres a scale d90 i built a few years ago,it was the first time a f90 hard body was mounted on an axial scx10 platform
