These came in the mail yesterday...from the images provided by one of my favorite EBAY sellers I initially thought they were a set of T34s ....so in my mind they were going to be slated as donor tanks for a couple 1/35th scale kits that have narrow hulls
Low and behold they turned out to be a pair of JS2s :O ...not all that exact...but that can be easily remedied :D

There are really only three different paint schemes on them all which don't look all that bad (if you close one eye and squint with the other)
I bought two sets (this is the second of the two) and with luck I got all three paint schemes...not that that matters as they will all be altered to fit my Genre :D

Not a one off at all Michael...These have been around for awhile...like I said ..I thought them to be T34s lol..and this was before I joined the board :S ...problem back then was ...they weren't 1/16th ...now that I'm doing some 1/35ths ..the game has changed a little ..The seller is Mideatech
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Radio-Remote-Co ... SwcdBWSqq3
Be Warned though...I'm not sure if shipping will be free to Canada...it isn't for Hawaii so you might want to inquire first or order more than one set :haha:
that way at least any over the initial order will be free ;)

They are pretty cool though...what I especially like is the narrow chassis...making them great donor tanks as well as runners :D

ALPHA

PS. No true scale to them...judging by their size..they are closer to 1/35th than 24th...hope that helps :D

Well on eBay the dimension given is 22cm long including barrel and 6cm high I am assumming including the IR receiver so if I pull out my Bradford scale drawing of Russian AFV it is VERY close to 1/48.

You are probably correct Michael....thing is ...visually...they look in between 35th and 48th...still nice tanks though...and great donors for narrow projects ...just because all the workings are there...the board can easily upgraded ;)

This also came in the mail last month...it's the reason for the purchase of those RC babies above :D

Got to view a 1/16th model of this tank...just a tad big :O ....so I thought the 1/35th scale model would be a nicer size...but dang if the hull isn't tiny....much much smaller that I had thought...bought some other gearboxes and such but they turned out to be a little large to fit....the Js2s are perfect...and they have turret function as well as IR :D
