Problem with HL Leopard 2 Airsoft Unit
Problem with HL Leopard 2 Airsoft Unit
So I'm in a bit of a pinch here. When I turn on the airsoft switch on top of the turret, the thing won't stop shooting! It's like it has a really really angry autoloader! and it fires regardless of whether the "engine" is turned on; the difference is just that there's not sound and recoil if it's turned off. I've checked the contacts underneath the turret, the don't seem to be touching. Any ideas, gents?

hi see if the 3 pin wire plug is round the wrong way in the top of the upper deck it fits just in front of the 8 pin
if this tank has one if not try the micro switch on the side of the bb unit maybe making contact all the time

I think the 3 pin plug is fine, considering that I haven't touched it. It was shooting fine before, so maybe it's something else? May I know where this microswitch is? Is it this one? Thanks!

Pried them apart and checked out the wires, no contact. Weird thing is that when I unplug that wire from the board, it still keeps firing!

it sounds like you have a short somewhere do you have another transmitter just incase its that try see if that works it just a process of elimination dave
Re: Problem with HL Leopard 2 Airsoft Unit
Hello! So I pretty much tore it down top to bottom, couldn't find any shorts
What gives? Could it be the switch on top of the turret? Or the board itself?
