I'd buy the M41 with the 2.4GHZ radio, smoke, sound, all located on the transmitter. Much better than the RX14 set up. Also, beware that in this instance, metal gear box means the zinc gears. You may or may not get long life with them. I have a set in my Heng Long Sherman and they have lasted a year. Be sure to let us know what you get.

Intnova and Rc Dynasty are both good sellers, I have bought tanks from them with no issues. All the tanks you posted are good tanks, I don't have an abrams so I cant really say much about it but it should be fine, everyone who has one says they are good. The panzer III is a great little tank. If you get one get the metal tracks and sprockets and the steel gears if possible. There are also tons of upgrade parts for it so that might be something to consider. some tanks don't have many upgrades and some do. As was stated get the newest version available with the 2.4 radio with the volume and smoke control on the transmitter as they are supposed to be better and the tanks I do believe are assembled better at the factory then they used to be. I think the newer heng longs have the better bb gun in them too, I bought a pz iv F2 off e bay and it has the bb gun with the blue plastic and it sure seems more powerful then the one on my other pz iv.

Scott, if you want an Abrams call Erik. If he has one it's a better deal than the one you posted, but if he doesn't then that one is a pretty good deal, but you get reamed on shipping and it most likely has zinc GBs which means an $80 outlay for steel.

The best tank you posted is the PzIII. Did you see my video on a first tank where I recommend the Tauchpanzer? That's basically the same tank. I have three different PzIII tanks, and also the HL and Taigen M41. If you're gonna get an M41, again, Erik is your best bet. He recently had an M41 in scratch and dent that I almost jumped on myself, even though I already have an Imex/Taigen Walker Bulldog.

I realize you have no reason to take my word for it, but there are those that know from experience that my word is pretty good when it comes to tanks (and redheads, but that's an entirely different conversation) and I can definitely say that a Heng Long Panzer III is a great place for any man to get his feet wet in this hobby. I'm so confident in that that I'll make you a deal. The PzIII you posted comes with nylon gears. If you buy it and want to try a good first mod I'll send you a set of metal gearboxes for free, and I'll even pick up the postage to San Diego. Now, they're old style 3 shaft GBs with all bushings, but they are black steel and should last a good long time. I personally have brass dual ratio GBs in all three of my PzIIIs but those are getting scarce as hen's teeth.

The day you post a photo of your new Panzer III you can send me a PM with your address and I'll send the gearboxes.

Looks like Imex has 6 of the Abrams left (at least that's what it says on their Amazon) They're the ones with Taigen electronics and 4:1 V2 gearboxes. Those go for around $300 shipped.

Hey, I got an idea...

Wow, I never knew Imex had an Amazon hook-up. I know about Island Enterprises, Imex on Ebay, but I've never seen the amazon. Can you post a link, Chase?

If you want an Abrams, that's the best deal out there, IMO. It comes with TG 2.4 electronics and the new steel four shaft GBs and they just might be the ones with bearings out the wazoo. Those are $80 to San Diego all by themselves, and the electronics package they put in it lists for about $109 but you can get them a lot cheaper and I sell used packages for $45 plus postage ($12 to any US zip code). So for $300 the Imex Abrams is good, and I know it's about $24 for shipping. If you call Erik he should give you a good discount when you say you're a forum member. I'm pretty sure they were $239 for the Abrams. Then with shipping you're lookin' at about $263 delivered. And if I were you I'd ask him to throw in the Heng Long electronics they took out for free and he just might do it. A spare stock TX/RX is never a bad thing, eh?

Of course, my offer about the PzIII still stands.

Here's the link, and it's more like $265 shipped, Chase, but it doesn't say what gearboxes it has. I'd still call Erik

That is just the stock heng long. Here's the one with taigen parts. Although, it doesn't say what gears come in it, but the one I bought from Erik had the V2's

Yeah, I saw they have two different listings at two different prices, but it doesn't really say what the difference is. OK, looked again, the cheaper one has HL electronics. Imex is supposed to be coming out with an Abrams but they say at least a year for that. I'm still hoping they do an Easy 8.

So what's the verdict, Scott? Reached any conclusions?
