So you decided to go with the "Merit" after all,
I admit I was puzzled when you said you preferred to build the "Trumpeter" kit, That looked like a lot of work when the RTR was available at a Postal saving of £40,
All you need now is a bottle of debonder and you will have the best of both worlds.
I hope you will keep us up to date on the R/C conversion.

It's really top quality ..proper model Adam it really is a stunning ,model can't wait tI'll that do the Mrap truck which is on there list again for 2016 and possibly the the cougar 6x6 ( both of which are brit kit )
And would go so well with the chally and the m1a2
I am really impressed by this model ....
I know by looking at it in detail that the trumpy kit is the version to get for RC ..as it's not possible to strip this apart the merit pr made model with out damaging parts ..I don't think ?
These is loads of room in the engine bay and the underfloor space for full electronic and motor gbox I feel a tamiya truck chassis would be perfect ...the tyres fit tammy rims ...and the axel witdthe and tyre foot print are correct
