Heng Long King Tiger plastic track "derailment"...

Post by NGKGTATT »

Hi there, i have a problem and question here... :)
I recently bought a Heng Long German King Tiger 3888A-1 and after one week of driving this came up... :|
The right side the plastic track some how came out a bit from the plastic idler wheel resulting it stop from running(jammed). As a result i have to remove the plastic track and then re-position the track correctly to the right idler wheel. This happened repeatedly every time i play on this surface. What is the problem here? The plastic track, plastic idler wheel fault or am i playing on the wrong ground surface?
I was driving on a tar surface road with a presence of some sand and some loose gravel.
If not, by upgrading to metal gear box, metal track, metal sprockets/idler wheels and metal drive wheels can solve this problem i am facing?

Please help, THANKS!

It sounds as if the tracks may have stretched a bit. I know the Heng Long KT doesn't have an idler adjusting system so you might try removing one link from the track. Henn Tec sells idler adjustment systems for rc tanks.

Didn't someone have a fix with a piece of plastic glued to the track guard?
