And all for the sake of a forgotten tube of $2 threadlock,
Most of us when deciding which Tank or Abteilung to represent start with research beginning with "WIKIPEDIA" and then to the printed word, The Tiger 1 has probably more books about it and then comes the Sherman, although some of the literature on the M4 and its derivatives is less than accurate but there is some good stuff about PANTHER's out there if you check here and on the WEB.

Shaun,
I was kidding about the threadlock, been using it the whole time lol. As for using wikipedia etc, while the internet is a handy tool to be sure, you can beat the likes of Jentz and Doyle and the Bundesarchiv for reference and good reading, all of which I've been using for years . I do appreciate the "lookin out for a bruvah" just in case though
As I've said i don't know what particular unit to build at the moment because there are so many historically significant ones to chose from from and I only have the one Panther!
I may convert this to a GD "A" model with zim or I may go end of the war "Battle of Halbe "G" with MNH camo, I've got all kinds of references , just cant make up my mind.
Today I'm trying to track down some final drive castings to put behind my sprockets, we'll see if I can find any in stock someplace on the planet, if not I'll scratch some up, then I have to add the rest of the lower hull details Tamiya left off.
