10 butterfly nuts are about £6.50 from impact and 5 are £4.80 from schumo however the schumo ones are better cast and nicely scaled (5mm vs 8.5mm for the impact ones) so you pays your money and takes your choice....

Wouldn't touch the gearboxes again but the tracks have always been good.

Yea there tracks are 1st class I use them on all my tanks. At the moment I just need 4 or5 spare links for my Leo 1 build. Brian...

Yes Tom I fear I am guilty of wild exaggeration but I like that they come loose and unpainted so that I can run a thread up them and paint them in the colour of my choice whereas the Schumo comes attached to a nickel silver sprue which needs cutting free so you lose some available length and they need more preparation to get ready for paint and the worst thing of all is I have a heck of a job finding anyone with them in stock :thumbdown: shaun

I think I must have got very lucky, I've had two king tiger sets and three Panther sets and all have run nicely (the Panther set I got off Ebay needed a little fettling mind), they're pretty noisy but I've not had a set properly fail yet.
