Re: Impact tracks....
10 butterfly nuts are about £6.50 from impact and 5 are £4.80 from schumo however the schumo ones are better cast and nicely scaled (5mm vs 8.5mm for the impact ones) so you pays your money and takes your choice....jarndice wrote:Hallo Brian, try

Re: Impact tracks....
Yes Tom I fear I am guilty of wild exaggeration but I like that they come loose and unpainted so that I can run a thread up them and paint them in the colour of my choice whereas the Schumo comes attached to a nickel silver sprue which needs cutting free so you lose some available length and they need more preparation to get ready for paint and the worst thing of all is I have a heck of a job finding anyone with them in stock

Re: Impact tracks....
I think I must have got very lucky, I've had two king tiger sets and three Panther sets and all have run nicely (the Panther set I got off Ebay needed a little fettling mind), they're pretty noisy but I've not had a set properly fail yet.billpe wrote:Wouldn't touch the gearboxes again but the tracks have always been good.jarndice wrote:Hallo Brian, try
