Cheap HL 2.4ghz receiver boards

Post by AlwynTurner »

Hi I spotted this and will probably try it as it's much cheaper than e-bay offerings

Don't know if they are any good though

But that one needs the latest controller with the volume on it as no volume in the tank with that board

Yeah that's a really good price for those...those are the version 3...it's what Heng Long is putting in their new line of tanks..good stuff ...Lipo ready :D
As said by Tankbear you do need the new controller ...but that's good too...only uses six batteries instead of eight ...range and control is the icing on the cake :D

Anyone in the UK ever bought these? I have an HL 2.4ghz tx, and wouldn't mind a couple of extra RX18's to use with it, no sound isn't a problem as I prefer to run them without a speaker or any sound at all.

Well it's the unit in my M1...a tad improved over the version 2 as I'm assuming they made it more Lipo compatible control and range is about the same as the ver2...much better than the ver1....but they are pretty cheap Wib ...you should just order one ...though I'm not sure which controller you have...the ver2 will work...but the ver3 is a tad sweeter :D

Alwyn Hi, I don't know if you have dealt with "ALI" before?
But it is worth remembering that they are much like E-Bay, a clearing house, not a dealer, so that just like E-Bay who you are actually buying from could be good, bad, or indifferent.
Saying all that my experience of ALI has always been positive except that delivery times are all over the place. shaun
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

That's the one....about average price wise...think there are better deals to be had on EBAY
