I really didn't think that I would get so many replies.

Thanks for your info folks, it is really appreciated. I am relieved that I have options for the PZ4 cos it means I can develop the tank over time, not all at once.

Dell have replaced the mother board, processor, heatsink, fan and screen driver. I recon that all my probs must have been due to overheating since I had it. I will give it a last chance then chuck it back...or in the bin.

Any news on the release of the new HL beasties yet......I look forward to the Sherman
