Cromwell

Post by Rangatron »

Hello

I have done one model before which was very basic. I would like to build, paint and weather this one.
I do not have an airbrush, I would prefer use spray cans and brush paints.

I think I will use these for detail:

What colour paints do I need and what primer do I need? (Post links from site)

Thank you very much

Hi
I just use a rattle can of Grey Plastic Primer from halfords and use Valerjo water based Acrilic paints for the colours, (we have a "BOYES" shop in town and they sell them in there modelling section at £1.99 a bottle or a set of 16 pack of WWII alied colours for £21.99.

For primer I either use Tamiya fine primer or Plastikote red primer.

For paints: for the airbrush I use Tamiya acrylics and Mig Ammo. For brushing it's the Mig Ammo, AK and Vallejo acrylics.

Try these guys. Have all the good stuff. I used them when I lived there, & they are still the best option really.
