Hi,

No need for intern HL style microswitch in your radio. Depending of wich radio / El-Mod setup you have, you could use stick or (extern)switch to fire the gun.

How to connect: http://www.rc-militaer-forum.de/thread. ... eadid=1659

Hi guys,

I have the full elmod setup in my tiger. I'm in the process of installing the Asiatam recoil unit and would like some clarification of the above web site?

Translating through google is very ordinary to say the least!

Could one of you please provide a wiring diagram or a better description of the connections please?

Thanks,

Phill

Be aware that I dont have a Asiatam recoil my self. Just provided the link.

Well, I will try to translate it. (From german to swedish to english. This is not going to be bulletproof….)

Ich habe die LED samt Mikroschalter und das blaue Kabel, was noch am Hebemotor dran war, entfernt.
Es sind jetzt also nur noch fünf Kabel übrig.

I have removed LED, microswitch and the blue cable to barrel up/down (???// Jake) So only five cables left

grünes und rotes Kabel= Kwk- Hebemotor= TLS Anschluß 3+5

Red and green cable for barrel up/down, connect to TLS connection 3  and 5 (watch pic/drawing in this post and next pic in the link above//Jake)

weißes Kabel= plus für RRZ= plus Akku (hinter den Ein-Ausschalter!!!!)

White cable to positve (+) at recoil and battery (behind the on/off switch!)

schwarzes Kabel, das an den Mikroschalter geht= minus Akku

Black cable for micro switch connects to negative (-) at battery

gelbes Kabel= Schußauslösung= TLS- Anschluß 4

Yellow cable to fire gun, connects to TLS connection 4

End of translation

The TLS connection numbers referees to picture “From 8 pin turret connectorâ€

Hi Phil

Here's a set of diagrams I did for myself when fitting the Asiatam recoil unit in my PzIII. Hope it helps.

Cheers

Thank you for all of that, much appreciated. Jake, thanks for the time taken to do the translation, much clearer.

I'm pretty sure I have it worked out.

Bin the blue wire
White to main switch
Black to batt neg
Red, green and yellow get soldered to the small pcb in the upper hull. (as per the ingrish instructions)

Regards,

Phill
