It's funny who you bump into...
I have been meaning to get a cheap garden shredder for years, and today I saw one going on Ebay, messaged the guy and drove to Weston to collect. I pull up outside and there is a Belgian DAF Variomatic Military jeep parked outside his garage. I commented on it and we started chatting? Turns out he is well into his military restorations, he recently helped a friend restore a DUKW to full running order (they used it to help the flood victims a couple of years back, I recall seeing it on the tv), another friend bought a Schwimmingwagen from Brazil, ex SS that someone took back there after the war. He paid £70k for it, and sold it for £120k?? His friends have amphibious jeeps and things as well.

You have no idea how right you are.
I was talking to KIASER/SIMON the other day, and he told me about the Australian Army selling their Centurians,
A farmer bought some of them for £1600 each and recently sold one for £60,000!!!
Make you wonder why you bother with a bank account?

My neighbor was selling a pair of ex Army Dodge trucks that looked like pick ups. They had a straight 6 engine that could run on gas, diesel, kerosene, used oil, damn near anything that was flammable. Wish I had gotten one of them they were in great shape, but young and dumb I didn't get one.
