Armored Grill Plates on the Jagdtiger?

The armored grill plate splinter shields on Tiger IIs were a late war effort to protect the engine from straffing fighter plane rocket and cannon fire. We've seen the photographic evidence. But, I've seen no photographic or other evidence to indicate the same armored grill plates were ever affixed to the Jagdtiger. I'm looking for an excuse to fit them to a Jagdtiger build, but I don't think I'll be able to prove it "could have happened." Nevertheless, going by the theory that if it looks good it is good, maybe I can pull it off without too many guffaws from the purists. Can anyone help me out here?

I have only seen them on Panthers and JagdPanthers.......

Go for it! Make them prove to you that no Jagdtiger was ever fitted with them, then you reply "well mine is, see?" and post another pic of your build!

Can't say I have ever seen them fitted to a JT either, but then the plausibility of them being fitted to at least some machines could surely be drawn.
No wartime photo does not necessarily rule out use, it rules out a photo !
I say go you're hardest & be happy you have a JT to make a decision on when other less worthy chosen ones don't !!!!!!

I think there is a list of factory and field kit upgrades in the relevant Panzer Tracts volume which will detail this.
