If your lucky you might find some of the old Tamiya KT's on Ebay, they normally sell for under £100 swap the old electrics for Heng Long and the gearboxes for some 3-1 boxes and you have yourself a decent KT

not much on ebay will keep looking
Re: king tiger
To be honest raven the Matorro KT needs work from the word go. Electronics are poor and need replacing with an RX 18 board. The rear idler system is set into the rear hull same as HL BUT the Matorro plastic is not as robust as HL's and is prone to spliting. So you need to beef it up or upgrade the rear idler system ( see Tankzone site ). And IMHO the suspension has a lot of play. And last but not least the gearboxes are not that good and seem underpowered. But dispite this I bought one from the evilbay and I like it. There will be a heck of a lot of work involved but I think it will be worth it in the end. Hope this helps you. All the best for now
