Late Tiger 1 info

Post by tankman »

Hi Guy's I am in need of information on the late Tiger 1. To be precice I need pictures or line drawings of late model Tiger 1 tanks as I am converting a Tamiya Tiger 1 to a late production model and I know the tool layout and engine deck were modified from the earley version. I also understand that a turret ring protector was added, this is the main item I need to see as I would like to add one to the Tamiya. If anyone has done this or any other of the late model upgrades links or pictures/advice very welcome. Many thanks in advance
Alan
PS no pictures yet as I have just bought a new PC and need to transfer everything over. As soon as I get done I will post in the build thred

do you have a division or theatre you would like to model your Tiger from or do you just want the basics, I have the Tamiya CD ROM with printable line drawing for the late Tiger I could print out a set in 1/16 and post them to you, my own Tiger was transformed a few years ago to late spec I have many pictures of the modified parts I can let you have.

Hi rivetcounter no particular division or theatre at the moment just general info on late Tigers. Anything you have on general specs would be a great help. Also any info/links to cammo schemes would be good as I only have a general idea of where I want to go with the old girl at the moment. Many thanks
