Does anyone remember this story from the 80s it was in the sci fi comic 2000AD
It featured a young german private Hans Schimd and how in 1941 he embarked on the invasion of Russia. The story tells how his division was accompanied by a elite Rumanian mountain troop who turned out to be vampires. The story ends in Berlin 1945 and then picks up again in West Berlin in 1980. It is now out as a graphic novel and has also been made into adult reading novels with the latest Fiends of the Rising Sun.
Highly recommend a great twist on a war theme.
