hello i am glenn, been a member since march, just been reading the tips and modelling advice on the blog, and have found it very useful
i have been building tanks for the past 9 years, dont do anything with them, but love the build and painting of them, and also modifying them, i have 16 tanks, mainly all built, but a few in various states of build !!!!

i cant seem to upload any pics, as all my files are 2.0mb or bigger any suggestions on how to make them not so big would be appreciated !!!

Hi Glenn,

Welcome to the forum, I look forward to seeing your tank builds.

For the image uploading try a sight called IMGUR, it's pretty self explanatory when you load it up.

If you have any more issues don't be afraid to ask and enjoy the forum.

welcome Glen. If you computer has microsoft's paint program you can resize your pictures by sending them to paint. enable the bottom info line and the pictures size will be shown at the bottom of the screen. Then click on resize on paints control panel and in the box that pops up there are two spaces that will read 100. That's the starting point for resizing. click on the top box and erase the 100. To make your picture smaller print in a number less than 100 ( the bottom box will automatically change it's number ) than click on apply and your picture will resize. Then close paint and it will ask you if you want to save the changes, click on yes. After paint is closed if you started from picture preview when you sent the picture to paint, wait a few seconds then open the picture with paint again and the new size will be at the bottom off the paint screen. If you started from a pictures folder or a stand alone picture wait a little longer before you send the picture back to paint. My old computer was faster than this one and with it I didn't have to wait before sending pictures back to paint to see what their new size was.
