Clear Lacquer

Post by Awins »

Has anyone ever used Alclad clear lacquer. Further to my recent post regarding my weathering disaster, I have learned that prior to this my model should have a coat of clear lacquer.
All I could find in my local model store was Alclad 2 Semi-matte. Is anyone familiar with his. just wanted some advice prior to airbrushing this thus avoiding yet another disaster!!!
Cheers guys
I am not retreating, but simply advancing in another direction!!!

I've used their Aqua gloss laquer and it worked fine!

Be careful spraying clear lacquer in humid or damp cold conditions with an airbrush it can turn white due to moisture in the air and give a frosted look.
