IBU2 Firmware update

Post by Tankbear »

New firmware available for the IBU2. As usual RC Tank Electronics will reflash the IBU2 free of charge excluding postage costs.

Update includes.

Automatic disabled track recoil whilst tank is driving
Track recoil can also be defined with motor power for finer adjustments to suit gearbox/motor type, i.e. standard ratio or 4:1 gearboxes
Improved drive algorithm for when using low capacity batteries

Do you know if this is something mine has in it or has this update just come out in the past 2 or 3 weeks?

Is there a way to check the firmware version on my board and is it easy enough to update it myself?

Cool, not like its a rush to update it. Just nice to have full features. :D

I will have to send the Mrs over with it, I cant make the May meeting. Already got plans for the bank hol weekend.

Do you attend M.A.D. meetings regular? Worst case I could drop in to thier may meet.

That's fine Pete,
