UPDATE 16 MARCH HL M1 problem brand new tank nitrotek

Post by mcevoyi »

Hi all

Finally took the plunge and got me a HL M1a2 from nitrotek ..as there the best price around
Ordered yesterday delivered with in 24 hours, not bad ....

opened box to inspect tanks to find right side no4 road whee out of positions .on closer inspection
the tanks been fitted with the wrong suspension arm .,, they are handed ..so i have 8 left hand and 6 right
..The problem cannot be corrected ..i need the correct arm

so on the phone to nitrotek ...The call was received in a call center where orders only see taken
I was asked to contact them via the on-line ticket system for spare and repairs I have done so with a set of pics to explain the problem

less see what happens as nitrotek advertise here it will be interesting to see
how quickly the resolve my issue

I will be watching this one Mcevoyi, let's hope they do the right thing, nearly pulled the trigger on a couple of occasions, so let's see.

All the best

Same old story... Nitrotek service when something goes wrong!!!

I do hope for your sake that a paypal dispute gees them up! Please do keep us posted. Maybe add your story to the long list of woes in the blacklist?

What a shame, sorry to hear you having trouble. Nothing worse then waiting for a tank to arrive and it's broken, I know ALL about that!

How sad,

Well that has just confirmed I will never pull the the trigger on a purchase from nitrotek, but it does seem to be a very common problem with HL lately, quality control being none existent, my last two purchases of tanks from them both have had bits missing, I have lost count of the posts I have read where other forum members have had similar issues.

My next purchase will be the HL Chally 2, so it kind of makes you a bit nervous as to what is going to turn up, when it is eventually released that is.

Hi,
It seams to be luck of the draw with nitrotek you here good things about them but a lot of bad reports far to many I'm afraid. Hope it all works out for you. John have you had any info on the Chally2 yet???. Brian...

Brian,

I wish, I have heard rumours, but I think that's all they are, last one being April 2015, but don't hold your breath, I just wish HL would give us some concrete info.
