ARE YOU TANKERS HAPPY NOW!!!!

Post by Militarymight »

when i first joined the 1/16 brigade 3 years ago there was only the Tiger and pantiger out Allied armour was in the shape of Bulldog and leopard. Now who would have imagined the hobby would ahve turned into this. More tanks that we have room for.
So with the KV1 and Sherman on the horizon i wonder what else is round the corner, still rumoured is a elephant and asiatam are making metal tracks for a famo so who knows.

Hi Andy I am very very happy with the way things are going in the RC tank world at the moment. It's just my wife and wallet are NOT so happy that takes the shine off  ;D. I hope the current state of the global economy don't mess it all up for everyone though.

hi andy
like you ive been into the 1/16 armour for about 3yrs, and when i started it was the tiger i bought, and still working on, the fact that more and more tanks are coming out is really good news, especially the allied armour thats on the way, it just goes to show just how popular this hobby of ours is becoming, and that this forum is the place to be ;)

Yeah, a Churchill would be great news, a crocodile and AVRE would be great versions to build. Still like a KV2 just because they are pig ugly and of coures a Famo.

Things are certainly looking up, shame the pound is down the pooper as they'll be that more expensive. What the hell, you want something badly enough, you'll find the wedge from somewhere. Kids don't REALLY need food and the dogs got three other legs to walk on!

Just keep em coming, we can never have enough. A KV would be on my list as I'm getting pulled over to the "red" side. I have a battered old Trumpeter RC T34 which I have now started my conversion to a SU-85, which I'm sure the mantlet will prove the biggest challenge, but I'm up for it! I have taken some progress pictures which I will share with you in the coming weeks. Wish me luck :o
