Hi all
my son and I have had abit of an accident with the Taigen 2.4GHz unit it was dropped ,and its broken the aerial bit on top. It is not affecting the function , it all works as it should it just looks a bit rough ,anyone know where I can get a replacement, ive looked on ebay but they seem to be complete units only and I dont need or want another unit only to take the aerial/cover
Many thanks
Tony

Thanks edpanzer
I have just tried Welsh dragon but have been told taigen don't supply spares for the control units, I wonder if any other company would have something that would fit?

Re: aerial for 2.4 GHz unit
My solution was to use a dropper bottle top!! I find it much better than the pointless big aerials. Easier to transport and wont break again.

Re: aerial for 2.4 GHz unit
Yep, the real antenna on the Taigen is just a wire, nice in some ways -hard too break, easy home repair. The same goes on the Rx side, only seen an antenna on my Taigen KV1's Rx all others I've have are like HL 2.4's Rx's -no antenna. But now knowing how the KV1 is, if I ever get a 100% metal tank or a chassis that interferes the RF, I know where to attach a antenna on the board.
