DMD and MF unit link up how to

Post by puramo »

Hi again

as I am still very new to this :/ I have too many questions o- , working out what I want to do. If someone has allready answered the following question please direct me to the post or posts >>

I still haven't got some things clear in my head yet , doh,

if I use a single motor esc in say an old single motor Tamiya or if I use a DMD esc like a T2000 what then is the best way to plug in a MF unit ???

ideally I'd like to do something like run 2x 540 motors in a tank but still be able to use the MF unit (for sound, lights, turret etc), do I just not use the motor hook ups on the main board ? But then what is the best way to get power to the MF unit (an RX18 in the case of HL for example)

if my MF unit is separate from my DMD esc the proportional smoker will work or not

I must admit I am a bit confused when you have separate DMD and MF units, but this would give me the maximum flexibility in playing with bigger and crazy fast motors, thanks if you can help
BC: I couldn't do that. Could you do that? Why can they do it? Who are those guys?
