Fed up

Post by edpanzer »

Got the new tank yesterday put the battery in and all was well played with it for five mins shut it down took the battery out and gave it a five hour charge.
Just came home from work put the battery in turned on the smoker for the first time (new clear type) there was a funny noise and I noticed one of the cogs on the smoker had fallen to the bottom of the smoker.aaaarrrgh. then the battery gave up after 5 mins what the hell?
Can I just say I in no way blame Dominique for this I am waiting for a return email....but it's bloody frustrating and just my luck.

I never use the batteries or chargers that come with the tanks they take too long to charge, die too fast and seem to just go bad. Do you have another charger to try the battery on? If not you may want to invest in one, they're like $40. Mine will charge a 5100mah battery from dead to full in about an hour and then the 5100mah battery gives me about an hour of run time.

When you hear back from her see if she can do anything with the battery and a partial refund, as for the smoker just ask for a new one.

I'd say your son is gonna be broke for the next 18 years at least.

Good Morning, Ed,
Deep Breathes, Sir. The tank is an easy fix at least. A better battery and charger and a new smoker will have it right as rain.
regards,
Painless
