Post by Matdragon »

as the title says ... what are your thoughs ?

i think that it wouldnt last that long, and if using it for an airbrush the pump would be almost permanently on! :D

cheers,

hi matt
the only thing these are good for is pumping up tyres and inflatable beds and toys, i for one wouldnt use one of those for an airbrush, they are quite noisey, they can run hot, and its debateable if they would run an airbrush properly,
the compressor i have is one gary (dog) gave me, its got a 25litre reciever on it its a bit bigger than used with an airbrush normally, but for me its ideal

matt the size of commpressor i was given by gary, you can get really cheap http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Stanley-Air-Compr ... 240%3A1318 this link is an example, you can get them from about £50 to £100, for me the versatility of being able to use it with some airtools instead of just a airbrush is a bonus

the delivery pressure looks too high on this one, you might find that you end up chasing paint around your tank at 40 PSI, never mind 90 PSI :o

Put one of these in line and you can adjust pressure for different results
