It was awesome. Quite the special moment when I saw the JagdTiger, and then the one offs like the Black Prince, TOG2 were all amazing to see in person.

Now that the Littlefield collection is gone, there is really only three places left, Aberdeen, Bovington and Kubinka. Not likely to visit Kubinka anytime soon, but Aberdeen is certainly within travel distance one day.

Didn't realized that "Fury" was also a working Canadian Sherman from Bovington. So both of the "stars" from Fury are from Bovington.

Aberdeen has gone as well. All the tanks were moved to Fort Benning I think to a new museum with a plan to put them all under a roof before they corrode any more.

Hi Michael, dont forget Saumur, Munster and Overloon museums.
They are all great Panzer museums.
I visited Munster last year and was amazed by what they had.

billpe...... Didn't know that....... Just had a look isn't it going to Ft Lee Virginia ? It won't be as far for me.
Swamprat33, absolutely....... Didn't mean to slight any of those either and I have heard that the one in Normandy is quite interesting as well. But that would be the next Europe trip......

A visit like that is an indellible memory.
WTS Koblenz is as good.............and they love tourists in town that do "Jaeger bombs" :shh: :thumbup: :thumbup:

I don't exactly know other than there was some legal problems with the ownership of the vehicles and Fort Benning was mentioned as one of the places that these will end up. Seems a shame not to put them all under one roof.
