inside heng longs new 2.4 t34/85

hi guys today I looked in side heng longs new 2.4ghz -t34/85 & I noticed the small sq, board is no longer used , instead two wire`s from the turret go straight to the rx unit [the one`s that connect to the flash unit] & the outher wireing plugs directly,in to hull top ,instead of the small sq,board ,I wanted to fit an asiatam recoil & flash but now I don't know iff I can ,as the three wire`s from the recoil unit that went to the small pcb don't have the plug on the end to plug in to hull top . has anyone any advice on how I can fit the asiatam unit to the new heng long t34/85 .or should I just fit the gun flash & forget barrel recoil, tanker 242 .

tanker, it just means that you have to solder the wires directly to the 8 pin board. You can just remove it from the mount, flip it over and solder directly onto it from the Asiatam recoil. The Asiatam recoil is functionally equivalent to the HL recoil.

ok michaelc ,or could I just connect the red white &black wire`s from the air soft unit with plug that go to the hull top to the yellow ,green &red wire`s from the asiatam unit .tanker 242

tanker, the three wire plug coming out of the Asiatam recoil should be two for the elevation and one for the Pos(+) on the recoil motor so you will need to sort out which is which. I have a Asiatam unit here in my hand and it has two blacks and one red (i.e. they are all different depends on what day of the week it is I believe........).

Did you hook up the Negative from the Asiatam to the main switch/battery negative yet ?

namely cut the three wires from the air soft to hull & connect the wires from the asiatam to the three wires previously connecting airsoft to the hull,iff you see what I mean ,similar to how tanks for the memory has done his dispensing with the small pcb , tanker 242

hi Michael no I have not connected any thing up yet need to get it all figured out first before fitting unit in , the unit I have has the yellow green &red wires &of course the thick black one for battery negative connection & the blue & white to connect together ,& the flash connection ,tanker 242

hi guys as I have stated heng long have done away with the small pcb the wires[ two black one red] witch went from the bb gun to the pcb then three more wires [two black one red]from the pcb to the 8 pin connector the old wireing ,[the new wireing now plugs via a three pin conector on the wires[2 black 1red] from the bb strait into a three pin conector add`d next to the 8 pin conector on the hull top , so what I was trying to ask is can I just connect the wires [red,green,yellow] from the asiatam recoil to the three[ 1 red 2 black wires that now plugs into the hull top via said three pin conector] ? tanker 242

hi MichaelC have fitted the asiatam unit into t34/85 ,but like I said heng long have done away with the small pcb &the tree wires from the bb gun 2black 1 red now plugs directly in to the hull top via a three pin plug to a three pin plug on the hull top right next to the 8 pin plug ,so I have connected the red wires together the yellow to one black & the green to the outher black , but I have reversed the yellow & green so that the recoil go`s when I push down on the controller & the up & down elevation works when I push up , as I prefer it that way,tanker 242

hi michaelC yes just needs a bit of fine tuning like fitting a flash unit , the most difficult part was making the brackets for fitting it inside the turret top,tanker 242
