Post by Jake79 »

Hi All

I just wondering does anyone else use this site...I'd never heard of it until a few days ago. Its a bit odd, but I found it strangely addictive, Its taken a little while to get the hang of things, but once you do it's quite fun.....any of you guy's second lifers..

I usually prefer my online things to have explosions!

As an aside do you have any photos of the jagdpanther you got off Sophie?

Holy Cow!...
You have my sympathies, Jake. Who was the shipper\destroyer on this one? I have used Second Life as a Virtual way to keep in touch with friends all over the world for some 8 years now. I have an old Tiger 1 that I built out of prims that looked pretty good for back in the day and also now an amazing new Tiger 1 that can be used for combat in a battle sim on SL. The new one uses mesh and skins so it looks just like a Tiger. Also in a last bit of SL related news. I was showing pics of the 'Crackerbox Palace' to a military chum of mine and he showed them around on SL and one of his Builder pals recreated my KV-2 capture version inworld and sells them for use in those combat sims I mentioned. *chuckles*
regards,
Painless

Hi Painless

The shipper was Royal Mail, how It ended up like that I don't know......I haven't tried to build yet on Second Life I'm just getting to grips with it at mo and having a good look around, but from what you have mentioned it sounds like you can achieve some pretty impressive builds.
