Double tapping Lipo batteries

Post by MichaelC »

Hi all,

Don't think this will be an issue but I am thinking of double tapping a 2200 mAh 3S lipo that is in my Turnigy 9XR to run a FPV monitor at the same time. Can't see the Turnigy being a big draw but don't know if the FPV monitor power draw will affect the radio functions.

If I am brave enough I might even open up the 9XR and re-solder the DC in as a DC out for the connection !

Any thoughts ?

Michael.

My thought is ........ Lipos are small enough... I would run a separate rather than taxing a single ...there might be heat problems (the battery)...and uneven draw if unregulated
