Hello from Missouri

Post by JagdTiger2 »

Hello, Dave here from Ofallon Missouri (near St. Louis).
Just getting into tanking and purchased a Heng Long KT with Henchel turret.
I have always loved tracked equipment and how they handle - used to run equipment many moons ago.
Looking to upgrade my tank with metal hull and tracks, idlers, road wheels, etc.
Not many dealers here in the states and what we had a few years ago seem to have gone away.
I am looking forward to my 2nd tank which will be the new IMEX Jagdtiger when it FINALLY comes available.
Any help etc from experienced tankers is always welcome.
Happy New Year!

Dave, A very Happy New Year and welcome to the Forum, I can do no better than refer you to the HENG LONG BUILDs site on the Forum, scroll down to it and read Herman Bix's "PRODUCTION" TURRET King Tiger Build, this is still ongoing and is a revelation in how to get the very best from a HENG LONG Product, every aspect is covered and it is presented in a manner that fools you into thinking anyone could do it, highly recommended. Please do ask all the questions you have, many new members are wary because they think we might have heard them before, well, of course we have! BUT they are new to you, and if you know stuff please tell us. enjoy this place, plenty of citizens here from the land of the free. shaun
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
