Post by tanksrsean »

Hello everyone,
Im sean from the uk.
im looking at buying a new rc 1/16 scale tank
im looking at the heavier metal versions from taigen for a more realistic movment, which is in my price range.
Iv been looking at 3 tanks in particular.
1= taigen tiger 1 full metal upgrade version
2= taigen t34 metal version

Has anyone had any experiences with these tanks or could recommend some others please

Hi Sean, you've picked some good tanks there! Taigen metal tanks are very good which ever one you chose you'll be happy with. I have both the Tiger and King Tiger and have upgraded them with all the Taigen metal parts and they both are fantastic runners outside. I think at the point you are at it all comes down to which one you want to buy first because trust me you will be getting more.

If you want as close to realistic speeds and climbing power may I suggest getting 4.1 steel gearboxes. That slows them down to a nice easy walking pace and makes hill climbing much easier.

Well sean..since you're signed in as a member now...check the recommended and not recommended seller's lists...think Nitrotech is not too good...I don't know the UK vendors well...maybe one of the others will come and aid you in your search

GOOD LUCK :thumbup:
