Controller issue

Post by DesertRat »

Hi guys, just received my tiger, and all seems okay, apart from the controller is literally not turning on, the tank headlights flash, but I cannot start it at the controller, brand new batteries in it yet when I turn the power switch to 'on' it's completely lifeless, any fixes or ideas guys? I've seen that Duracell batteries could be an issue? Or is that as silly as it sounds? It's a HL by the way. Cheers DR

I notice that too DR ... Duracell at times don't make good contact ...I still use them ...but on the newer controllers will trim out the separators in the middle of the battery box ...my older crystal units were different the separators were spring loaded so would slide to accommodate the batteries....the new ones don't ...so removing the tabs that run down the center is usually the fix for that problem ;)

It did catch me off guard slightly ALPHA, seems as if they were way too tight once popped in, the Panasonic ones are great for the newer controllers! seems as of now its all okay, which certainly has put a smile on my face!. Thanks again, DR
