Hi Guys this is my first attempt at this so go easy on me. I have decided to buy my first rc tank and after hours on the internet and youtube I have set my sights on a Taigen Tiger 1 late model all metal however the problem is trying to find one to buy new. Every model shop that sells them have none in stock and when you contact these shops they don't return my phone calls or emails so does anyone know where I can buy one of these tanks or when will they be back in stock.

Ulsterman Hi, welcome to the Forum, There are a number of dealers who will sell you a TAIGEN TIGER 1 but the time of year makes getting hold of one harder, I would suggest you scroll down to the RECOMMENDED dealers and try there, What I would say is please read the BLACKLIST so that you can avoid the likes of TANKZONE who will make promises with no intention of fulfilling them. If you have no luck I would try theallertons@fsmail.net
it is Dave and Julies site and if there is a TAIGEN TIGER 1 available then Dave at Forgebear is the place to go. Of course if you like building Tanks then why not buy a TAIGEN metal hull and metal turret and a late model HENG LONG body and make your own, it is not too hard and will teach you a lot about building Tanks and improving your modelling skills.

I can vouch for Dave from Forgebear! VERY GOOD SERVICE, always responds, doesn't mind answering questions or ordering hard to find little pieces that your tank just wouldn't be complete with out. He also ships VERY FAST so long as he has the parts if not as soon as he gets them he sends them on to you. Can't say enough good about him.

Good Afternoon and welcome to the Forum. I went and looked and found one on US Ebay for 424.99 US on a Buy It Now. On rctank.de, there are a number of nice ones. Be prepared for shipping costs, etc.

Hi ulsterman, if you go on eBay and search Forgebear he actually has a Taigen tiger for sale. Think he has it up for £189.

Wait for an ebay tank? If you are patient some amazing bargains pop up out of nowhere...my $60 Panther G came today.
I don't know if the person was a member of this site but I think I know what happened - couldn't make the crystal radio work, got fed up with trying to fix the unfixable and sold it. I think I will leave this one how it is - except for swapping the receiver to the 2.4 ghz. If there's one thing that makes people dislike the heng long tanks it's probably the shoddy radio system performance, then all you've got is a pretty looking tank that actually works less then half the time.

old chap ,if one is after a taigen tiger then there is the one and only forgebear ...he will sort you out, I get all or as near as dam bits tanks ete from dave he will endeavour to get what he can he has never let me down its yes and no with him... no, if ,but maybe ,so give the chap a go he is showing a tiger or you can get bits and build and learn[jarndice] but it is near chrismas so stock may be low but get in touch ...wot wot .....
