Hi Wayne,

Welcome to the forum and thank you for the very interesting introduction, I don't think I have seen one that long.
You will be most welcome here for your knowledge and I hope that you can find some from us as well.

I look forward to seeing the pictures of your many tanks.

Hi Wayne,

Yes you are right I am a real military man.
Unfortunately I am doing a tour behind a desk at the moment but hope to be back up in the air soon.

My sporting interests stem from the opportunity to experience the wide range of sports the military back and supports, so I thought why not you only live once.

I currently have a Heng Long Sherman that I am modifying to be a test bed model so will have a different turret each time you see it as it would be in a real military test facility.

My second tank is a Taigen Tiger 1 that is painted in the Tiki scheme, this is already very heavily modified but I'm sure that I can find more to do.

I am also eyeing up a King Tiger but that is currently on the back burner until further notice.

Gidday mate. About time we had a starter from Melbourne.
I can recommend Tankarmy.com for parts (based in Melbourne) and Mark at Ozarmour (Brisbane) for locally supplied gear.
The jokers in here are really free with hints and where needed - constructive criticism.
We like pictures as it saves enduring poor speling & worse grammar :haha:
If at any stage you suffer self doubt- dont kick yourself..............thats what we are here for :/
