Did the same thing for my Tiger and King Tiger, not sure why they come with that silly block anyway.

Jack I think that HENG LONG et al were aware that had they fitted 360 degree turret rings they would very quickly have amassed claims from those new to the hobby who in the excitement of opening the box and straightaway spinning the turret around ripping out the wiring thought that fitting a limiter to the turret ring would save them money.Whereas people who alter the ring to 360 are very aware of its limitations and so are less likely to damage the wiring. shaun

I hadn't thought of that, makes perfect sense.

If you look for a seller on ebayncalled dingding, he sells the wiring needed with a rotating connector so your wires won't rip out.
He's doing a sale atm for £17

Slip rings have gone down in price quite a bit in the last 2 years...

Cool device....does it come with a schematic 8O a lot of colored wire there...but an optimum solution...have only done 360 rotation on one of my tanks...and that was because I could implement Cupotea's crossbar trick :D

I just use a mini cable tie to keep the wires from twisting & I only do one 360 turn in either direction , tanker 242.

Colour in = colour out

So I would expect the hard bit to be fitting it somewhere so it doesn't foul? As well as butchering any travel locks?

I installed one of these in my H.L. Pershing a couple years ago and posted a thread on this forum:

viewtopic.php?f=22&t=9204

Slip rings were like $40.00 with shipping then...

Every tank now a day should come with 360 degrees turret rotation...

After all; without 360 rotation; a tank is a jagpanzer with a wide deflection. :haha: :haha:
