Hi as the topic subject says I am upgrading from 35mhz to 2.4ghz on my Challenger 1 1/10 tank . The question is with the old 35 mhz set up I have a mixer for the two speedregler (Profi HF 40) . I have aquired a 2.4ghz transmitter a Jamara CX 2.4ghz + Delta mixer [tank] .
The way I understand it the old mixer can be taken out of the electronic loop so to say , as the new Jamara tank tranmitter does that job on its own ,Am i right or do i need to change anything else .
Your help will be appreciated . thanks in advance . Liney
upgrading to 2.4ghz (mixers) ?
Re: upgrading to 2.4ghz (mixers) ?
Not an expert in the matter.... forget the old system all together...strip it out and start from scratch...get a good five or six channel 2.4 rig...and look into the aftermarket boards for some of the other functions you know sound smoke whatever... in your case perhaps the Elmod is best.... there is another builder here that did his KV2 in metal from scratch... he is using the Elmod
Hope that helps

PS. Not sure any of the boards for 1/16 scale can handle the voltage that you are running in your 1/10th scale Challie reason I suggest you research them....the Elmod that the other member used in his tank worked without a hitch... he's running 12 volts
