speaker buzzing?
Hey guys so I'm working on my King Tiger and when ever I change the throttle from stop to forward ir reverse the speaker makes this horrible buzz sound. It did it when I first installed the 4.1 gearboxes and I found the little diodes had come unsoldered from the one motor so I fixed it but the buzz is back and the diodes are all soldered to the motors. If I un plug either motor from the board if doesn't do it only when they're both plugged in. Any ideas ca use I'm kinda stumped? I'm thinking of getting a noise filter like you'd put in an old car to stop it's radio from whining or should I replace tge diodes on both motors?
Re: speaker buzzing?
Try charging your battery Jack...or check the batteries in the TX... sometimes a weak signal will cause the speaker to do funky thingsjackalope wrote:Hey guys so I'm working on my King Tiger and when ever I change the throttle from stop to forward ir reverse the speaker makes this horrible buzz sound. Try moving your trims on the radio slightly

I had this issue with my Sherman. It would sort pitch and squeal when I moved the turret or hit drive. MichaelC suggested I move my right stick trim slightly and poof! it went away. He is such a smart boy...

I actually forgot about how the trim affects the sound...glad you brought that one up ....because there is a point where the trim activates something in the RX ..puts in into micro drive or something ...leaving a mur mur of a sounddgsselkirk wrote:I had this issue with my Sherman. Did someone say smart boy ?....... Is the sound part of the sound effect or is it interference ? Sounds like interference to me, pun intended.dgsselkirk wrote:I had this issue with my Sherman.
