Carry Bags??

Post by LarryE519 »

Hi,

How do you guys get your tanks form one place to another??

I know some giuys use tool boxes, I have 1 carry bag from a Tamiya Tiger1 and I'm looking for another.

Any suggestions for moving a King Tiger?

Thanks

Larry

I just dump mine in the car, usually you the rubber non slip mat stuff to sit them on as that way they won't move around. I've seen people use everything from tea trays, modified toolboxes and houses, to custom made shelves and boxes, and even 'acquired' supermarket wire baskets with a hole cut in the mesh at the front for the barrel.

I don't enclose my tanks as there's more chance of the packaging snapping bits of than me carrying it.

IKEA big blue bag or the slightly smaller bag works a treat and keeps all the crud out of your cars boot. Think they're around 50p each.

Sadly we do not have one in Staten Island... :( However, there is an Ikea about 20 min from me in New Jersey, right by Newark Airport... :D

I might give it a shot - plus we all need Swedish Meatballs!!! :haha:
