taigen early tiger idler's latest improved design ?

hi all , i am trying to find the latest 'screw together' version of the taigen idlers , everywhere seems to have the old glue together version , any help would be much apprecited

cheers , i dont order from the usa or canada as i am in the UK and have to suffer massive import duty and super slow shipping ,the last parts i got from the usa were only $6 but after shipping and duty it worked out at just over $50 but, thankyou for the suggestion

Hi, I'm not sure I know what you mean? http://www.welshdragonmodels.com are selling Taigen early model Tiger 1 Idlers and Sprockets and Taigen late model Tiger 1 Idler and sprocket sets, these are good for the Heng Long and Taigen Tiger 1 they are priced at £14.99 a set. I hope that helps. shaun

Alphatiger, the reason I expressed puzzlement was because all my Tigers have what you called the latest type, I bought the Taigen hull from FORGEBEAR and yet I see he is selling the "OLD" type Idler and obviously you have searched for the update around the web without success, even the TORRO/TAIGEN website is selling the old type, it can only be dealers trying to get rid of old stock first, so sorry I cannot help but I shall keep looking. shaun

That's why I listed the two above, because the guy at Taigen said that is where these idler's would be available and ETO...good luck finding any here..

I know you don't want to buy from an American company BUT I have bought from these people in the past and it generally comes from HONG KONG and quite quickly too, http://www.matomart.com click on rc tank accessories then on tiger 1 then click on the MATO box NOT the HENG LONG box from there go to sub page "5" and click on the picture of the idler to see both sides, they are a reasonable price and they do PAY-PAL. shaun

I wish you all the luck in the world, I gave up trying to find the screw together ones seems no one has them. Worse yet the people in the video who claim they would have them by now do not. I have the glue together ones and they work just great.

jackalope just let me know when you want a set as I have them, the screwed type I mean. Personally I used super glue on the glue type and never had a problem though. dab of nail polish remover and they pop apart for repairs too.
