Hi jake,
Well it depends what you want to use it for. High speed or high torque. I would say futaba but there are a few brands out there. What radio are you using. If it is just for normal use I would say an S3003 or S3001 this one has a bearing on the out put shaft the 3003 is the standard servo. Hope this is of help to you. Hi Jake,
If your just after it for recoil etc then a simple micro servo will do you. Search "micro servo" in ebay and you find one delivered for a few £'s.
I don't bother with the metal geared ones, as tend to be more expensive noisy and jam up easier.
