Turnigy 9x radio question channel mixing
Turnigy 9x radio question channel mixing
I've finally taken delivery of a turnigy 9x (ordered the day before the newest version came out typically but it didn't cost me a penny). I'm after some assistance with the channel mixing, I want to slave one channel to another so that once the master reaches 40% throttle the slaved channel kicks in at 40% and follows the master. Is this possible?

half possible. All you need to do is set the channel parameters in the mix screen.
If the throttle is what you want to be master, What you would do is use set a mix so that at +40% movement you trigger the slave channel. the master can only be a trigger, the slave won't increase or decrease. It can only be on or off.
If you can program in C then this should be an easy thing to do.

Sadly my programming skills have never got past vba in Microsoft excel! However I've sort of managed to get it working as I'd hoped, maybe you have some pointers to improve it. What I've done is slave channel 6 (which is assigened to a rotary switch) but only allowed travel in one direction so through the first half of throttle movement it does nothing, then starts at the centre of the throttle channel. The only problem is the slaved channel only becomes effective at 75% throttle (at which the slaved channel is at 50% throttle). I've tried messing with the offset parameter but this doesn't seem to do anything. Any ideas?
